Developers are bringing in plans for everything from hotels in the Perimeter, to recreating neighborhood nodes and the now-popular "mixed use" model. The Dunwoody Village area is getting a special focus in 2020 for revitalization
Housing needs are diversifying. Developers propose new density and configurations on some parcels, while others remain unchanged.
Life for Dunwoody homeowners is affected by legislation at all levels: City Council, DeKalb County Commission, and the State Legislature. The DHA keeps track of government actions to develop an informed opinion on legislation so we can advocate for homeowners' best quality of life.
Homeowners equate quality of life with quality of local public schools. DHA invests in school initiatives, including demanding improvements to facilities, lobbying the school system, and determining what elements of the educational system can be managed locally.
Includes mitigation of rush-hour traffic on local streets, MARTA utilization, and I-285 expansion
